Hello,
i have the following System:
- i5 6400
- Asrock H110M-DGS/D3
- 2x 4GB 10600MHz DDR3 - RAM
- No graphics card. Using onboard
- OCZ Vertex 4 120GB SSD
Clovers Product information are set to iMac14,2 version 1.0 and a serial number, basicly the prefilled information.
I created the bootstick with uni-beast. That worked so far.
I plugged the usb stick into the usb port and booted into clover. I made sure the graphics was set to intel and added the boot option -v .
So far so good. I start the setup then.
The SMC is ok. Already after that a error message appears:
'
ACPI Error: [PGRT] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20140828/psargs-1d1)
ACPI Error: Methods parse/execution failed [_GPE._L6F] (Node ffffff8027ceaf10), AE_NOT_FOUND (20140828/psparse-270)
'
See attachment for the full verbose boot log.
I've searched for that error but had no such luck for finding something usefull.
Any advice what i can do here?
- Marcel

I installed XP for some gaming on my late 2008 MBP. However, a few minutes into the game, I get a black screen, sound loops for a few seconds and everything freezes. I can only power down the laptop and then power it back up.
In the Windows event log it shows:
Error (Source: acpi, Event: 10, time: 9:03:53)
ACPI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal PCI Operation Region (0x41c), Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.
Error (Source: acpiec, Event: 1, time: 9:04:09)
DeviceACPIEC: The embedded controller (EC) hardware didn't respond within the timeout period. This may indicate an error in the EC hardware or firmware, or possibly a poorly designed BIOS which accesses the EC in an unsafe manner. The EC driver will retry the failed transaction if possible.
Any ideas? I read on other forums that a BIOS update might help, however this is not applicable for Mac, obviously...

- Hi, I use a ML150 Server with Microsoft Server 2008 R2. The installation worked fine; now I have one questions: - Is there any fix for the unknown-device problem (ACPI/HPI0002/) which is.
