If you bought this adapter thinking it will work with Mac OS X and got home and couldn't get it to work, then you are in the right place. This adapter use RTL8188SU realtek chip which is supported. Although you will find no resources on the Belkin website. I had a hard time trying to figure which chip was actually used so I took the case off and just looked at the chip itself.
This works on Mavericks 10.9.2 Mountain Lion 10.8 Lion 10.7 Snow Leopard 10.6 Leopard 10.5 Tiger 10.4
Probably the easiest way to get it going is to install the driver from the chip manufacturer's website. It was really easy and straight forward and a perfect solution for the amateur hackintosher.

Download for your corresponding Mac version. If using Mavericks just download the Mountain Lion version and it works perfectly in Mavericks.
